Wideplate Restaurant serves Filipino comfort food in San Antonio, Zambales, near the Pundaquit coves. Portions are built for sharing, and the site had to carry that: a menu of fourteen categories, plus dine-in, pickup and delivery, all readable on a phone.
The build is one long homepage with four supporting pages. A cinematic hero rotates five plated shots behind the wordmark, the menu filters by category with a scroll-spy that keeps the active chip in view, and the combos open as accordions. The Visit section holds a map facade that makes no request to Google until it is tapped.
Under it, vanilla HTML, CSS and JavaScript on Vercel, with a generated critical-CSS block, self-hosted General Sans, and security headers. It ships an accessibility statement and a privacy policy that describe what the site actually does.
