Oracle Red Bull Racing ran a white RB21 at Suzuka in 2025, sixty years after Honda won its first Formula 1 race. This is a six chapter scroll story about that car. The circuit it raced on is rendered live in the browser, not filmed.
Three.js r185 is self-hosted behind an import map, the RB21 loads as a Draco compressed model, and Suzuka at night is built from code: grandstand, ferris wheel, city skyline, start lights, sakura drifting through the frame. Lenis drives the scroll, the camera and the car are placed from scroll progress, and a chapter rail tracks position with a live speed readout.
A heavy scene punishes weak hardware, so the resolution scale is a one way ratchet. It steps down when frames slip and latches a ceiling instead of hunting up and down. There is a boot screen with a real load percentage, a fallback path when WebGL is unavailable, and recovery if the graphics context is lost.
An unofficial fan build, not affiliated with or endorsed by Oracle Red Bull Racing, Honda or Formula 1. Livery photography by Will Cornelius, from the team's own Art Of Livery Design piece.
